"Across the square I picked up razor blades and tea. From the butcher down the street, two pints of lamb?s blood. (Now you will understand). Back in my kitchen, I thinned the blood with water, sweetened it with sugar to mellow the odor ? sealed it ? put it in the bathtub, and covered it with water, to stop coagulation. I made some hot tea, sat down and sipped it while I waited out the twilight. At dawn they would be here. So this is how it is, I thought. Sooner or later my clinging to integrity would betray me to our rulers. As long as I was invisible, there was no danger: but now my determination to act had sealed my fate." * For kjøpsinformasjon eller andre opplysninger om kunstverkene, vennligst ring 472 35 186, eller send en e-post: gallery@nordicart.info Artwork (text & image): Jan Valentin Sæther / BONO © 2004 All Rights Reserved |
